Challenge Partners and Supporters
This challenge is the result of a collaboration between 4 organisations who care deeply about the strength of the Reef.
The Tiffany & Co. Foundation
Established in 2000, The Tiffany & Co. Foundation provides grants in environmental conservation, working to preserve the world’s most treasured landscapes and seascapes. The Foundation supports organizations dedicated to the stewardship of natural resources in the areas of responsible mining and coral conservation.

Great Barrier Reef Foundation (GBRF)
GBRF, founded in 2000, is the only charity in the world dedicated exclusively to generating practical and financial support to ensure the long-term conservation of the Great Barrier Reef. Our value is in being a connector between business, philanthropists and the community, and projects that reverse the decline of the Great Barrier Reef and coral reefs around the world.
The University of Queensland (UQ)
The University of Queensland (UQ) consistently ranks among the world’s top universities in conservation and is No. 1 in the world for biodiversity conservation in the Center for World University Rankings. It is home to the Global Change Institute, which leads the 50 Reefs project supported by Tiffany & Co. Foundation, and the Centre for Marine Science, as well as running the Heron Island Research Station, a world class research and teaching facility located on the Great Barrier Reef.
